Bike Rental: Carretera Austral One of the best experiences of my life. I rented a mountain bike from Austral Bikes 2 different times. First to do the loop around Lago Llanquihue and then to ride the Carretera Austral. Dian and Daniel were so kind, professional, and made sure I had everything I needed. Best service and support for my 10 day trip from Puerto Varas to Coyhaique Just came back from my trip to the Carretera Austral. Had the most amazing time and this is easily one of the most memorable trips I ever made. I contacted several different rental places to inquire about getting a bike with panniers and equipment for my 10 day journey from Puerto Varas to Coyhaique. Diana was super quick to reply with all the information I needed and answered all my questions super quickly and detailed. Diana even offered to order my gas tanks since I couldn't bring them by plane and they are at times hard to get in the different towns along the ride. When I arrived at the rental place I was kindly helped by one of Diana's sons, who helped me to prep my bike and get ready for my journey. The staff is super friendly, speaks english (which was nice for me since my Spanish isn't that great yet), and very accommodating. I got a brand new bike and helmet for my trip which was really nice! They also provided all the other necessary items (lock, panniers, extra tires, etc). All I had to do is to load up my luggage and go. Really nice way to start the journey. Throughout the trip, I could easily get in touch with the staff for questions and help. They responded quickly and were always ready to assist where needed. I paid a flat fee for the bike rental for 12 days and the return of the bike from Coyhaique. Overall very affordable I would say. I had to return the bike in Coyhaique to the transportation company which was quite easy to do and with that my trip came to an end. I'm already thinking about my next trip to do the rest of the C.A. (from Coyhaique to O'higgens) and without doubt I'm going to rent from Austral Bikes again. They made my trip so much easier and smooth. Great choice to cycle the Austral! Had the best experience renting bike to cycle the Austral from these guys! They put a lot of thought and effort into preparing my bike and equipping me with tools and spare parts for the long way. The bike was excellent choice for the type of the road. I needed some assistance on the way as the bike was getting a lot of beating on the rough roads and Diana was always available, finding me people who could help and fixing things right away without any additional charges. Fantastic experience with a family cycling company We hired bikes from here to cycle to Frutillar. It was quite a long cycle, and in fact more demanding than I anticipated.  The track from Puerto Varas is along a railway line and reasonably flat  .  It was just at the end, near Frutillar that it got a bit hillier.  You have the option to cut a loop off the cycle but it is along a very dusty track. The bikes were good and the owners are easily accessible at all times via what’s app. This was good news, because, we sort of ran out of time and they collected us without any question, for which we were very grateful. My advise if you are doing the cycle is, set off early, and get clear directions as to how to get on the right paths.  It is really beautiful and varied

¡Grande Austral Bikes! Tuve la fortuna de alquilar mi bicicleta en Ausral Bikes cuando viajé hace pocas semanas. Me atendieron muy bien, muy puntuales y las bicis están en excelente estado. Excelente alternativa para ciclistas En repetidas visitas a la tienda desde hace un par de años atrás, dese que necesite un repuesto para mi bicicleta , he constatado que mantienen un nivel  de servicio e inventario excelente y que uno no espera encontrar en una ciudad relativamente pequeña. Se nota que entienden de ciclismo y cuáles son las necesidades de los ciclistas. Aparte el servicio de arriendo de bicicletas y de todo lo que uno pueda necesitar, sirve a los distintos niveles de experiencia sin limitarse a un solo estándar. He visto cómo los dueños (que atienden ellos mismos) hacen el esfuerzo de renovar las bicicletas  y los componentes disponibles todo el tiempo... todo con el mejor trato. Que sigan estos emprendimientos que permiten disfrutar el precioso entorno y las ciclovías sin tener que acarrear la ferretería con uno!

Me encanta la tienda Austral Bikes No es primera vez que he usado los servicios de Austral Bike. Me encanta esta tienda, pues siempre ha funcionado a la perfección. Entregan bicicletas de primera calidad, con todo el equipo de seguridad, como chalecos reflectantes, cascos, cámara de repuesto etc y lo mejor de todo es la cálida y eficiente atención que brindan. Además cuentan con servicio de rescate en caso de que por algún motivo uno tenga algún contratiempo en el camino. Les deseo lo mejor, pues se necesitan tiendas con el nivel de servicio que ustedes brindan, ya que dan la tranquilidad y confianza que uno necesita para poder disfrutar plenamente de la vuelta ciclística.
