DAY 0

The nearest Airport is El Tepual (PMC) in Puerto Montt. All domestic flights are operated by three local airline companies: Latam, Sky Airlines and JetSmart. We will pick you at the airport.

Before you kick off the road cycling, you should take at least half a day to adjust to local time, recover from your flight, and allow for any flight or luggage delays.

Lodging at Puerto Varas.

This wonderful circuit can be done by pedaling for two days (back and forth).

DAY 1

You will start your adventure from Austral Bikes store cycling to the town of Llanquihue. While doing so, you will discover the architecture of German colonization, upon arrival to Llanquihue in the west bay of the lake, you will continue your journey on your bicycle, heading to Frutillar.

About an hour and a half (about 18 km) bordering Lake Llanquihue and looking old German-style houses on your way, wonderful beaches and an amazing view of the volcanoes Osorno, Calbuco and Tronador, you will arrive to one of the most interesting cities of Llanquihue Lake’s basin. Its well-preserved German architecture and the city’s cultural movement, linked to classical music and the Teatro del Lago (Lake Theater) will welcome you.

You will lodge at the hostel in Frutillar, dinner is included, so don´t worry, just relax and enjoy after a hard day of intense pedaling.

 

DAY 2

After breakfast, you will start riding following the road in the south direction, a unique road between the towns of Frutillar, Llanquihue and Puerto Varas. Biking along the waterside, looking at the old houses, beautiful beaches and an amazing view of the Volcanos Osorno, Calbuco and Monte Tronador.

You will arrive back to the hostel in Puerto Varas,  and we will take you to the airport  the day after at the hostel.

We rent you the bikes, give you maps and take care of lodging and airport transfer.
